Woohoo! My guitar just arrived here on Monday. Thank God it's here in one piece. My dad shipped _____ (any name suggestions for my acoustic would be appreciated) to me through Federal Express. I was stoked to have it sent here but at the same time worried because of the way that some employees treat the cargo. I used to work at FedEx and was informed that fragile is just another word with little to no meaning. The guitar arrived without any damage to our front door and I was so excited that I ran down the stairs like a little boy on Christmas. Now that I have my guitar, PM and I can form our 90's R^B cover band.
Adjustment to my service here has been really good. The first week was spent learning new tasks and jobs and this week things are really getting easier.
I have a goal to be around 180lbs by the time I get back to Vancouver. I have a feeling that this goal is looking pretty realistic. Pat (one of the guys living with me) and I decided that we'd workout together during my GAP year. We're blessed to have some equipment down in the basement! Finally I'm re-motivated again.
Yesterday we also had our first outreach event of the year. A few of us went to MSU to talk to random people about Jesus and UCO. Alex, Scott and I were in one group together while Nicole and Audrey were paired up. The girls made awesome progress yesterday. They talked with several people and even passed out all their info flyers. During our time our on campus, the of us guys were only able to 4 guys. The last guy we talked to conversed with us about his opinion of Christianity for 40 mins.
Anyways, I have a meeting with Biggles now.
Good day to you!

More Dreams
I've been sleeping in a sleeping bag ever since my move away from Vancouver. A change in sleeping environment has typically caused me to have really weird dreams. A few weeks ago, I attended a retreat where I slept on a bed. Each night of this retreat I had a really unique dream. Here's one dream that I can still remember.
The first scene was set in a university auditorium that looked like a mechanics workshop. The room was painted gray and blue and was decorated with the occasional oil spot. There were pipes that ran across the entire ceiling and pipes that acted as railings to divide the rows of seats. Along one of the side aisles, there was a display table that held up a very large pod-racer engine. I was walking along this side aisle up to the front and realized that the lecture was about to start. There was about another hundred students (all elementary school aged) who were getting settled into their individual desks. I spotted Jon L. through the crowd and decided to take a set beside him. I then came to realize that our friend Tim O. was also in the class; he was seated one row in front of us. The 3 of us were our current age but the rest of the students were just kids. I wonder why Tim and Jon didn't find it strange that we were older than everyone else. The room became very quiet and our professor entered into the workshop. The appearance of our professor was so shocking because it happened to be our friend Sarah C. Sarah began lecturing to the students on the workings of a pod-racer and began to explain to us how to pilot one.
The scene instantly shifted to a small two roomed toy store. One room contain trains from the top of the shelves to the bottom. There was a Thomas the Tank Engine display which kids played with and there were also Christmas trees surrounded by cotton which looked like snow. Parents populated this room as they shopped for Christmas presents. In the other room, Power Rangers merchandise covered everything in sight. I was in the power rangers room along with Nicole T and PM and we were scouting for some kind of Power Rangers megazord toy. This process of selecting a megazord took a long time so I decided to poke my head into the train room. While I peered into the next room, I saw this girl, that I've liked, and her sister enter into the door to the train room. As soon as this happened, Nicole and PM grabbed me away from my current location and threw me into a pile of toys. Luckily the throw did not hurt at all but their words of warning really scared me. They said, "Don't you dare make a move on her! Don't even look at her! You're a gapper and gappers are not supposed to be dating! If we ever catch you looking at her again you'll be in deep poo(actual word used was a 4 letter one)!"
Right after these words of warning I woke up and realized that it was all a dream. :)
I'll try posting on another dream when I get the chance and if I can still remember it. My guitar is coming in from Vancouver today. I hope that it's ding free!
